הפתרון — עלייה אחר עלייה
בחזרה על פסוק 3 מזיזים הכול בצעד אחד. הלוי מקבל את שלושת פסוקיו, והשלישי בולע את פרשה ב כולה יחד עם סוף פרשה א.

זוהי שיטת רב — דּוֹלֵג: ״חוזרים ומשייכים פסוק שכבר נקרא״. וכך נפסקה ההלכה — כך עושים בבית הכנסת בכל ראש חודש (שולחן ערוך, אורח חיים תכ״ג, ב). הכלל: אל תספור 15 בגוש — ספור מה נשאר מאחורי כל מחיצה.

By re-reading verse 3, everything shifts by one notch. The Levi gets his three verses, and the 3rd reader can swallow the whole of paragraph 2 together with the end of paragraph 1.
Rav's Method, and the Halacha
This is the method of Rav — dôleg: "go back and re-read a verse already read." So the halacha was decided — this is what is done in shul every Rosh Chodesh (Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 423:2). The rule: don't count the 15 as a block — count what is left behind each wall.

En relisant le verset 3, tout se décale d'un cran. Le Lévi obtient ses trois versets, et le 3ᵉ peut avaler le petit paragraphe 2 en entier avec la fin du paragraphe 1.
La méthode de Rav, et la halakha
C'est la méthode de Rav — dôleg : « reprendre le texte et relire un verset déjà lu ». La halakha l'a retenue — c'est ce qu'on fait au Beith Haknesset chaque Roch Hodech (Choul'han 'Aroukh, Ora'h 'Haïm 423, 2). La règle : ne comptez pas les 15 en bloc — comptez ce qui reste derrière chaque mur.
