Our Land According to Torah
The Existential Battle

By Yehuda Ben Biba v Messod

Introduction - The Stakes of Survival

This teaching reveals the essential truth: Torah study is not an intellectual luxury, it is our only guarantee of survival in a world that refuses the Divine Presence. We are the burning bush that burns but is not consumed - provided we remain connected to the Source.

Primary sources: Oral Torah transmitted since Sinai, Contemporary geopolitical reality, Teachings on Divine Providence.

The Foundations: Na'ase Venishma

The Oral Torah was forbidden to be written. Rabbi Yehuda HaNassi understood: "If we don't write it now, we'll lose it forever."

The Talmudic Method: Seeing the Invisible

Practical example of Talmudic deduction:

The Brother "Son of Your Mother"

  • The verse: "When your brother, son of your mother, incites you..."
  • The question: Why does the Torah warn us against the "son of your mother" and not "son of your father"?
  • Rashi answers 1000 years ago: because your brother, son of your father, diminishes your share of inheritance
  • The answer: The maternal half-brother has no inheritance conflict with you
  • The lesson: We listen to one who has no personal interest
"The glass is half full" - what did I say that I didn't say? Half empty. All the Oral Torah works this way.

Lessons from History: The Primordial Rivalry

Adam and His Sons

  • Cain: "My father had the world to himself, why should I share?"
  • Abel's murder: Refusal to share, elimination of the competitor
  • Impossibility: One cannot rebuild the world with a murderer
  • Seth: The new beginning after 130 years
  • The Law: Can a world without The Law survive?
  • The Flood: The world destroyed because of Hamas (theft with violence)

Noah and Ham

  • The symbolic castration: Ham prevents his father from having a 4th son
  • The curse: "Your fourth will be slave to his brothers"
  • The logic: "We are three, no need for a fourth competitor"
  • Canaan cursed: The consequences reverberate through generations

The Biological Truth: We Are All "Genociders"

The revolutionary teaching about our origin:

Now you understand why brothers from the same father hate each other! We all carry within us this memory of mortal competition.

Abraham and the Divine Exception

Ishmael vs Isaac

  • Ishmael the firstborn: According to natural law, the inheritance belongs to him
  • Isaac is chosen: Hashem breaks natural law
  • Torah law: "You shall not disadvantage the firstborn"
  • Esau the firstborn: According to natural law, the inheritance belongs to him
  • Divine exception: When Hashem chooses, laws change

The Wronged Firstborns: The Contemporary Battle

The current geopolitical dimension reveals historical continuity:

Modern Claims

  • Ishmael today: "Free Palestine from the river to the sea"
  • Esau (the West): Constant international pressure
  • The objective coalition: Arabs + West united against Israel
  • The cruel paradox: "Leave here... but where?"
They shout "Free Palestine from the river to the sea", but they never say where we should go. The Moon? Another galaxy? The truth: they want to see us nowhere.

The Impossible Exile

  • The absurdity: Leave... but to go where?
  • To the Moon? To another galaxy?
  • The hidden truth: They want to see us... nowhere
  • Our constant reminder: We testify to the Divine Presence

Eretz Israel vs Eretz Canaan: The Divine Condition

"If you walk in My laws, and keep My commandments, and put them into practice, then this land will be your land, it will be called Eretz Israel."

Study: Our Only Survival in This World!

The existential dimension of study revealed:

Why Torah Study is Vital

  • Acceptance of Law: Torah is only one thing - the study of Law
  • The world's lie: "The important thing is not to get caught"
  • An empty world? As if one could escape the Divine Presence!
  • We are connected 24/7: Like a computer, we cannot live disconnected
Hashem gives us life permanently, like a computer cannot stay on if it's not plugged in. We are all plugged into Hashem, it is He who keeps us alive 24/7.

The Survival Code

  • A given Law code: To pass this period without all possible torments
  • The nations' refusal: They think they can manufacture their own law
  • Human arrogance: Tiny microbe rivaling the Creator
  • Our role: To remind all consciousnesses of the Creator's Presence
That's why we are "the people to eliminate"! We constantly remind of Hashem's existence to a world that wants to forget Him because it didn't accept Him.

The Burning Bush: Our Permanent Miracle

"The bush burns but is not consumed!" Everyone has tried to destroy us!!

Our Survival Strategy

  • Stay connected: To the divine Source through study
  • Apply the Mitzvot: Put into practice what we study
  • Protect our young: Through our collective merit of study and practice
  • Transform Eretz Canaan: Into true Eretz Israel
