The 92 Fundamental Elements
According to the Tikkunei HaZohar, בראשית breaks down into ברא שית, “He created SIX”: 86 + 6 = 92 elements.
According to the course, 86 elements are combinable (15 non-metals + 71 metals) and 6 are saturated noble gases, which “speak another language.” The scientific claims are presented as the course states them.
As Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai teaches in the Tikkunei HaZohar, בראשית breaks down into ברא שית, “He created six.” Revealed and hidden dimensions: ש + ין = 60; י + וד = 10; ת + יו = 16; plus 6 (notional value): total 86.
Two different languages, two different natures of elements: the 6 elements (Aramaic שית) do not speak the same “chemical language” as the other 86.
The 86 unsaturated elements combine chemically (H₂O = 2 hydrogen + 1 oxygen; NaCl = sodium + chlorine). The 6 noble (saturated) gases do not combine.
Helium (He, no. 2, lightest after H) · Neon (Ne, 10, glowing, signs) · Argon (Ar, 18, 1% of the atmosphere) · Krypton (Kr, 36, used in photography) · Xenon (Xe, 54, medical anesthesia) · Radon (Rn, 86, naturally radioactive).
They are called “noble” because they do not mix with the others, as nobility kept apart from the people; their outer electron shell is saturated, they have no need to combine.
The 86 combinable elements divide into 15 + 71 = 86. 15 non-metals: negative charge, “brain” (מוחין), female receptive nature. 71 metals: positive charge, load-bearing structure (אלם, “mute”), male giving nature.
According to the teaching of Kabbalah, the name א-להים breaks down into two dimensions: י-ה (15), the mochin (brain), passive nature; אלם (71), load-bearing structure, active nature.
“As it is on the metaphysical level, so it is on the physical level.” What exists in the spiritual world (the Torah) is found in the material world (creation).
According to the course, every number, every subdivision testifies to the Creator’s wisdom inscribed in the first word of the Torah: בראשית.
