The Matrix of Man: אָדָם = 45
Rabbi Shimshon of Astropolia: the constitution of man is divided into three times יה (15): 3 × 15 = 45 = אָדָם.
The course presents the 3×3 magic square, the 16 combinations of three digits totaling 15, the warning about the Golem of the Maharal of Prague and the three spellings of ה whose total 31 is the value of אל.
The numerical correspondences are presented as the course states them.
“For dust you are, and to dust you shall return” (Genesis 3:19). In mathematical terms, dust corresponds to the unit values (1 to 9). 1 + 2 + … + 9 = 45; אָדָם = 1 + 4 + 40 = 45.
According to the course, man is the sum of all the unit values of creation.
Matrix: 4 9 2 / 3 5 7 / 8 1 6. Rows: 4+9+2, 3+5+7, 8+1+6 = 15. Columns: 4+3+8, 9+5+1, 2+7+6 = 15. Diagonals: 4+5+6, 2+5+8 = 15.
The course notes: 8 directions × 15 = 120 = יה × 8, and states that this matrix is the only one to give 15 in every direction.

Example, parameter 618: 6 + 1 + 8 = 15; it is the “golden number,” watermark of creation. אִישׁ (311) + אִשָּׁה (306) + הקב"ה (1) = 618: man + woman + G-d = perfect harmony.
Rabbi Shimshon of Astropolia was the nephew of the Maharal of Prague, creator of the Golem according to tradition. He writes: “Man is formed by 3 times the numerical value 15” and adds: “If you know how to understand the formation and interrelation of all the values of pairs and triplets that this matrix of 9 gives us, you will be able to ‘form’ human beings!”

Man is the synthesis of a universe created on a three-dimensional basis (time, space, matter). Since G-d created the two worlds through the two letters יה (י = spiritual world, ה = material world), man is formed of these two dimensions combined in a three-dimensional infrastructure: 3 × יה (15) = אָדָם (45).
הי = 10 + 5 = 15; הה = 5 + 5 = 10; הא = 5 + 1 = 6. Total: 15 + 10 + 6 = 31 = אל (G-d, singular). According to the course, this again demonstrates man’s metaphysical origin.
“The Eternal G-d formed man from the dust of the ground” (Genesis 2:7). According to the course: the dust = the 9 unit values = 45 = אָדָם.
Mathematical level: only the 9 values form 45; only this matrix gives 15 in 8 directions; 16 combinations reveal 16 aspects of man. Spiritual level: man is the synthesis of the two worlds (יה); three-dimensional structure (3 × 15); divine image and likeness.
