א. La Néïla : LA prière de l'année
La Néïla, c'est un sujet très important. Pourquoi ? Parce que c'est la prière la plus importante. Toute l'année, on a des prières, mais il y a LA prière — et c'est la prière de la Néïla.
Il faut comprendre que chaque prière a un but, une raison. Il y a les prières qu'on fait tous les jours — le matin, l'après-midi, le soir. Et il y a les prières ponctuelles : Péssa'h, Chavou'ot, Kippour, Roch Hachana… des prières qui viennent une fois par année.
Et LA prière qui vient vraiment une fois par année, où tout le monde vient pour cette prière-là, c'est la Néïla.
Question fondamentale : Pour comprendre ce qu'est la Néïla, il faut d'abord comprendre c'est quoi la prière. Pourquoi est-ce qu'on prie ?
Par mon expérience, la plupart des gens n'ont pas vraiment une idée de ce qu'est la prière. On est habitué. Le matin on met les Téfilines, on fait la prière de Cha'harit, on fait la 'Amida, on fait Chabbat… et c'est une routine.
Mais si tu demandes à tout le monde : c'est quoi la différence entre la prière du matin et celle de l'après-midi ? C'est quoi celle du soir ? C'est quoi la différence du Chabbat ? Personne ne peut répondre à ça. En général. Et je parle même des gens érudits.
ב. Le but de la prière : le Yi'houd
La prière, ce n'est pas juste des mots et des Téhilim. C'est une 'Avoda, c'est une action. Et le but de la prière, c'est d'arriver à provoquer quelque chose en haut.
לְשֵׁם יִחוּד קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּהּ
« Léchèm Yi'houd Koudcha Bérikh Hou OuChkhintéh »
Avant de faire la prière, on dit : « Je fais cette prière pour faire l'union — Yi'houd — entre Koudcha Bérikh Hou (HaKadoch Baroukh Hou) et la Chékhina. »
C'est quoi cette union ?
L'harmonie qui vient à nous par rapport à Dieu vient de deux côtés. Il y a le côté masculin de Hachem — Koudcha Bérikh Hou — et le côté féminin — la Chékhina.
Hachem, en Haut, Il est tout. Mais Sa manifestation dans ce monde est masculine et féminine. La Chékhina, c'est Hachem — mais c'est le féminin. Et Koudcha Bérikh Hou, c'est le masculin.
Cette force qu'on appelle la Chékhina, il faut qu'une fois qu'elle arrive dans ce monde, elle s'unisse avec le masculin. Et cette union — c'est le but de la prière.
Le paradoxe : Moi, toujours je me suis posé la question — comment est-ce que tu dis avant de prier « Je fais cette prière pour faire cette union », alors que tu n'as aucune idée de ce qu'est cette union, et tu n'as aucune idée de quand ça se produit ?
C'est comme ça que j'ai commencé à étudier la Kabbale, le Zohar. J'ai commencé à poser des questions. On ne peut pas juste lancer des mots comme ça, des déclarations, sans comprendre.
ג. Les quatre mondes : la structure spirituelle
Quand on commence à prier, on traverse quatre parties dans la Téfila. Ces quatre parties correspondent à quatre mondes différents.
Quand on dit un « monde », il ne faut pas imaginer un monde comme la terre. Ce sont des dimensions. La dimension de 'Assiya, c'est notre dimension — on bouge, on a un corps. Mais au-dessus, il y a la dimension des anges, puis des âmes, puis des émanations.
La montée et la descente : On monte dans la Téfila : 'Assiya → Yétsira → Béria → Atsilout (la 'Amida). On bâtit le Yi'houd de Koudcha Bérikh Hou et la Chékhina par les trois premières montées. Et dans la 'Amida (Atsilout), il y a ce qu'on appelle le Yi'houd — il arrive à un moment précis. Après la 'Amida, on redescend : Atsilout → Béria → Yétsira → 'Assiya. On revient ici.
ד. Les fêtes : des gradations spirituelles
Maintenant, les fêtes. Chaque fête a un Tikkoun spécifique. On mange de la Matsa à Péssa'h — pas juste parce qu'on a mangé de la Matsa en Égypte. La Matsa a une certaine force, une certaine raison. On ne mange pas de pain parce que dans le pain, il y a du levain. Le levain, c'est une force qui est négative.
Il y a beaucoup de choses qu'il faut comprendre pour se sentir plus proche de Hachem. Tu comprends Sa volonté et ce que tu fais, tu comprends pourquoi Il veut que tu fasses ça. Et quand tu comprends pourquoi, tu comprends que c'est pour faire un Tikkoun — parce que Lui, Il n'a besoin de rien. On ne Lui ajoute rien. C'est pour nous.
Dans les fêtes, il y a des gradations :
Roch Hachana : Beaucoup de gens pensent « bonne année ». Mais en vérité, Roch Hachana contient un grand secret — c'est le recommencement de tous les Yi'houdim qui vont se passer pendant toute l'année. Il y a une séparation, et Roch Hachana commence à faire certains rapprochements entre Koudcha Bérikh Hou et la Chékhina — le premier jour, le deuxième jour, le Chofar… chaque chose a sa raison.
Et même dans Kippour, il y a une montée : La prière de 'Arvit de Kippour (Kol Nidré) est moins importante que Cha'harit. Cha'harit est moins important que Moussaf. Moussaf est moins important que Min'ha. Et au-dessus de tout — la Néïla. C'est le sommet du sommet de tout.
ה. Les cinq niveaux de l'âme
On sait qu'on a différents niveaux de Néchama — d'âme. Il y a cinq niveaux :
Ce n'est pas tout le monde qui atteint les niveaux supérieurs. Beaucoup restent dans le niveau de Néfech ou de Roua'h. Chaque niveau se divise en plusieurs sous-niveaux — c'est toute une matrice.
Les niveaux de Néfech, Roua'h et Néchama sont à l'intérieur de nous. Tandis que 'Haya et Yé'hida nous entourent.
ו. Le secret de la Néïla : la Yé'hida descend
✡️ LE GRAND SECRET ✡️
Quand on arrive à Kippour — c'est le seul moment de l'année, pendant la Néïla, où on arrive au niveau de Yé'hida. La Yé'hida vient à toi et te pénètre dans ta Néchama, juste au moment de la Néïla.
Un phénomène universel : C'est connu que dans n'importe quel Beith Haknesset, soit au Canada, en France, n'importe où, il y a des juifs qui ne viennent jamais. Jamais. Mais ils vont venir à la Néïla.
Moi, je me rappelle toujours — tu vois la porte, les gens dehors, ils viennent, la Néïla, ils écoutent, après tu ne les vois plus, ils repartent. Quelque chose les attire.
Le secret de cette attraction : À la Néïla, non seulement tout le monde s'élève, mais ta propre Yé'hida — elle vient te pénétrer. Toi-même, tu deviens Kadoch. Tu es Kadoch. Hachem est là dans ce moment-là.
Une fois par année. Quelques minutes — en réalité 40 ou 50 minutes. On met des Taliots sur la tête, et tout le monde sent quelque chose. C'est magique.
L'ouverture du Hékhal : Quand on ouvre la Néïla, pour celui qui a le mérite d'ouvrir, son mérite c'est qu'il ouvre pour tout le monde. On ne peut pas faire la Néïla sans ouvrir le Hékhal. Il faut que tu ouvres. Et quand tu ouvres — cette magie de la Yé'hida qui vient, elle vient de ce côté-là. Tu ouvres et tout le monde reçoit. Tout le monde se tient debout. C'est incroyable.
ז. Le message : comprendre pour se rapprocher
Le plus grand danger — ce qui tue la spiritualité d'une personne — c'est qu'elle ne pose pas de questions. Tu fais. On t'a dit « tu dois prier, tu dois mettre tes Téfilines. » Fais ton devoir. Non !
Hachem n'a pas besoin que tu mettes tes Téfilines. Il n'a pas besoin que tu mettes ton Talit. Il n'a besoin de rien. Il va te donner quelque chose pour que spirituellement tu avances, que tu te développes, que tu comprennes le chemin de Lui. Ou que tu passes à côté. C'est aussi simple que ça.
La Néïla, c'est un cheminement, c'est une compréhension, c'est un rapprochement spirituel. Comment Hachem se manifeste, comment nous on comprend cette manifestation, et comment on se rapproche de cette manifestation.
On veut recevoir. Tu ne peux pas recevoir si tu es complètement ignorant. Tu peux recevoir la santé, mais tu ne vas pas recevoir la spiritualité qu'on doit avoir tout le temps par rapport à Hachem.
Ce moment de la Néïla, c'est LE moment. Tu es en contact avec ta Yé'hida, tu es enveloppé de cette Kédoucha. Là, tu pries.
« Hachem, permets-moi de comprendre comment je vais m'approcher de Toi plus, comment je vais faire ci, comment je vais faire ça. »
C'est le moment de parler à Hachem.

🕊️ La Leçon Finale
La prière, c'est un Tikkoun. C'est un flot d'émanations qui vient d'En-Haut, de Hachem, et qui se manifeste tous les jours. Le but, c'est de faire l'union entre Koudcha Bérikh Hou et la Chékhina.
Et à la Néïla, c'est le seul moment de l'année où notre Yé'hida — le plus haut niveau de notre âme — vient nous pénétrer. On devient Kadoch. Hachem est là.
Quelqu'un qui veut se rapprocher de Hachem, il faut qu'il comprenne ce système. Il faut poser des questions. Le plus grand danger, c'est de ne pas poser de questions.

א. Neilah: THE Prayer of the Year
Neilah is a very important subject. Why? Because it is the most important prayer. Throughout the year, we have many prayers, but there is THE prayer — and it is the prayer of Neilah.
You have to understand that every prayer has a purpose, a reason. There are prayers we say every day — morning, afternoon, evening. And there are punctual prayers: Pesach, Shavuot, Kippur, Rosh Hashanah… prayers that come once a year.
And THE prayer that truly comes once a year, where everyone comes — is Neilah.
Fundamental question: To understand what Neilah is, we must first understand what prayer is. Why do we pray?
From my experience, most people don't really have an idea of what prayer is. We're used to it. In the morning we put on Tefillin, we do Shacharit, we do the Amidah, we do Shabbat… and it's a routine.
But if you ask anyone: what's the difference between the morning prayer and the afternoon one? What about the evening one? What's different about Shabbat? Nobody can answer that. Generally. And I'm talking even about learned people.
ב. The Purpose of Prayer: the Yichud
Prayer is not just words and Tehillim. It is an Avodah, an action. And the purpose of prayer is to cause something to happen Above.
לְשֵׁם יִחוּד קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּהּ
"Leshem Yichud Kudsha Brich Hu U'Shchinteh"
Before praying, we say: "I do this prayer to make the union — Yichud — between Kudsha Brich Hu (HaKadosh Baruch Hu) and the Shechinah."
What is this union?
The harmony that comes to us from God comes from two sides. There is the masculine side of Hashem — Kudsha Brich Hu — and the feminine side — the Shechinah.
Hashem, Above, He is everything. But His manifestation in this world is masculine and feminine. The Shechinah is Hashem — but it is the feminine. And Kudsha Brich Hu is the masculine.
This force called the Shechinah — once it arrives in this world, it must unite with the masculine. And this union — that is the purpose of prayer.
The paradox: I always asked myself — how can you say before praying "I do this prayer to make this union," when you have no idea what this union is, and you have no idea when it happens?
That's how I started studying Kabbalah, the Zohar. I started asking questions. You can't just throw out words and declarations without understanding.
ג. The Four Worlds: The Spiritual Structure
When we begin to pray, we go through four parts in the Tefillah. These four parts correspond to four different worlds.
When we say "world," don't imagine a world like the Earth. These are dimensions. The dimension of Asiyah is our dimension — we move, we have a body. But above it lies the dimension of angels, then souls, then emanations.
The ascent and descent: We ascend in Tefillah: Asiyah → Yetzirah → Beriah → Atzilut (the Amidah). We build the Yichud of Kudsha Brich Hu and the Shechinah through the first three ascents. And in the Amidah (Atzilut), the Yichud takes place — at a precise moment. After the Amidah, we descend: Atzilut → Beriah → Yetzirah → Asiyah. We come back here.
ד. The Festivals: Spiritual Gradations
Now, the festivals. Each festival has a specific Tikkun. We eat Matzah on Pesach — not just because we ate Matzah in Egypt. The Matzah has a certain force, a certain reason. We don't eat bread because bread contains leaven. Leaven is a negative force.
There is so much to understand in order to feel closer to Hashem. You understand His will and what you do, you understand why He wants you to do it. And when you understand why, you understand it's to make a Tikkun — because He needs nothing. We add nothing to Him. It's for us.
Among the festivals, there are gradations:
Rosh Hashanah: Many people think "Happy New Year." But in truth, Rosh Hashanah contains a great secret — it is the renewal of all the Yichudim that will take place during the entire year. There is a separation, and Rosh Hashanah begins to make certain rapprochements between Kudsha Brich Hu and the Shechinah — the first day, the second day, the Shofar… each thing has its reason.
And even within Kippur, there is an ascent: The Arvit prayer of Kippur (Kol Nidrei) is less important than Shacharit. Shacharit is less important than Musaf. Musaf is less important than Minchah. And above all — Neilah. It is the peak of the peak of everything.
ה. The Five Levels of the Soul
We know that we have different levels of Neshamah — of soul. There are five levels:
Not everyone attains the higher levels. Many remain at the level of Nefesh or Ruach. Each level divides into many sub-levels — it's an entire matrix.
The levels of Nefesh, Ruach and Neshamah are inside us. While Chayah and Yechidah surround us.
ו. The Secret of Neilah: The Yechidah Descends
✡️ THE GREAT SECRET ✡️
When we arrive at Kippur — it is the only moment of the year, during Neilah, where we reach the level of Yechidah. The Yechidah comes to you and penetrates your Neshamah, precisely at the moment of Neilah.
A universal phenomenon: It is well known that in any Beit HaKnesset, whether in Canada, France, anywhere — there are Jews who never come. Never. But they will come for Neilah.
I always remember — you see the door, people outside, they come in, Neilah, they listen, then you don't see them anymore, they leave. Something draws them.
The secret of this attraction: At Neilah, not only does everyone elevate, but your own Yechidah — it comes to penetrate you. You yourself become Kadosh. You are Kadosh. Hashem is there in that moment.
Once a year. A few minutes — in reality 40 or 50 minutes. We put Tallitot over our heads, and everyone feels something. It's magical.
Opening the Heichal: When we open for Neilah, for the one who merits to open, his merit is that he opens for everyone. You cannot do Neilah without opening the Heichal. You must open. And when you open — this magic of the Yechidah coming, it comes from there. You open and everyone receives. Everyone stands. It's incredible.
ז. The Message: Understand to Draw Close
The greatest danger — what kills a person's spirituality — is that they don't ask questions. You just do. You were told "you must pray, you must put on your Tefillin." Do your duty. No!
Hashem doesn't need you to put on your Tefillin. He doesn't need you to put on your Tallit. He needs nothing. He will give you something so that spiritually you advance, that you develop, that you understand His path. Or you miss it entirely. It's as simple as that.
Neilah is a journey, a comprehension, a spiritual drawing-near. How Hashem manifests, how we understand this manifestation, and how we draw close to this manifestation.
We want to receive. You can't receive if you are completely ignorant. You can receive health, but you won't receive the spirituality that we should have constantly in relation to Hashem.
This moment of Neilah is THE moment. You are in contact with your Yechidah, you are enveloped in this Kedushah. There, you pray.
"Hashem, allow me to understand how I can draw closer to You, how I can do this, how I can do that."
This is the moment to speak with Hashem.

🕊️ The Final Lesson
Prayer is a Tikkun. It is a flow of emanations coming from Above, from Hashem, manifesting every day. The purpose is to make the union between Kudsha Brich Hu and the Shechinah.
And at Neilah, it is the only moment of the year when our Yechidah — the highest level of our soul — comes to penetrate us. We become Kadosh. Hashem is there.
Someone who wants to draw close to Hashem must understand this system. You must ask questions. The greatest danger is not asking questions.
הַשֵּׁם יַעֲזְרֵנוּ לְהָבִין אָמֵן כֵּן יְהִי רָצוֹן
בָּרוּךְ ה׳ לְעוֹלָם אָמֵן וְאָמֵן

אָמֵן כֵּן יְהִי רָצוֹן
א. נעילה: התפילה של השנה
נעילה זה נושא מאוד חשוב. למה? כי זו התפילה הכי חשובה. כל השנה יש לנו תפילות, אבל יש תפילה אחת — והיא תפילת הנעילה.
צריך להבין שלכל תפילה יש מטרה, יש סיבה. יש תפילות שעושים כל יום — בוקר, צהריים, ערב. ויש תפילות מיוחדות: פסח, שבועות, כיפור, ראש השנה… תפילות שבאות פעם בשנה.
והתפילה שבאה באמת פעם בשנה, שבה כולם באים — זו הנעילה.
שאלה יסודית: כדי להבין מה זו נעילה, צריך קודם להבין מהי תפילה. למה מתפללים?
מניסיוני, רוב האנשים לא באמת יודעים מה זו תפילה. התרגלנו. בבוקר שמים תפילין, מתפללים שחרית, עושים עמידה, עושים שבת… וזה שיגרה.
אבל אם תשאל מישהו: מה ההבדל בין תפילת הבוקר לתפילת אחר הצהריים? מה של הערב? מה שונה בשבת? אף אחד לא יכול לענות על זה. באופן כללי. ואני מדבר גם על אנשים מלומדים.
ב. מטרת התפילה: היחוד
תפילה זה לא סתם מילים ותהילים. זו עבודה, זו פעולה. והמטרה של התפילה היא לגרום למשהו לקרות למעלה.
לְשֵׁם יִחוּד קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּהּ
לפני שמתפללים, אומרים: « אני עושה את התפילה הזו כדי לעשות יחוד — בין קודשא בריך הוא לשכינתיה. »
מה זה היחוד הזה?
ההרמוניה שמגיעה אלינו מאת ה׳ באה משני צדדים. יש את הצד הזכרי של ה׳ — קודשא בריך הוא — ויש את הצד הנקבי — השכינה.
ה׳ למעלה, הוא הכל. אבל ההתגלות שלו בעולם הזה היא זכרית ונקבית. שכינה — זה ה׳, אבל זה הנקבי. וקודשא בריך הוא — זה הזכרי.
הכוח הזה שנקרא שכינה, כשהוא מגיע לעולם הזה, צריך שיתאחד עם הזכרי. והאיחוד הזה — זו מטרת התפילה.
הפרדוקס: תמיד שאלתי את עצמי — איך אתה אומר לפני שאתה מתפלל « אני עושה את התפילה הזו לשם יחוד », כשאין לך מושג מה היחוד הזה, ואין לך מושג מתי הוא קורה?
ככה התחלתי ללמוד קבלה, זוהר. התחלתי לשאול שאלות. אי אפשר סתם להשליך מילים, הצהרות, בלי להבין.
ג. ארבעת העולמות: המבנה הרוחני
כשמתחילים להתפלל, עוברים ארבעה חלקים בתפילה. ארבעת החלקים האלה מקבילים לארבעה עולמות שונים.
כשאומרים « עולם », אל תדמיינו עולם כמו כדור הארץ. אלה ממדים. הממד של עשיה — זה הממד שלנו, זזים, יש לנו גוף. אבל מעליו יש את ממד המלאכים, אחר כך הנשמות, אחר כך האצילות.
