"Your blood isn't moving. It's pooling. Building pressure. If we don't restore the circulation, something will burst."
That evening, at home, his wife serves dinner in silence. The children eat quickly and leave. Nobody talks about the bills on the counter.

In Hebrew, blood and money share the same word: Damim.
A body where blood circulates — alive. Every organ nourished. Warmth in every finger.
A body where blood stagnates — dying. Silently. From the inside.
A home where resources flow — food on the table, shoes on the children, a wife who transforms every coin into something living. The house breathes.
A home where resources are held — silence at dinner. Resentment in the walls. Children who feel it but can't name it.
The doctor said: "The problem is stagnation."
He was talking about veins.
He could have been talking about anything.

Damim (דמים) means both "blood" and "money." Blood must circulate to sustain life. Money must circulate to sustain a home.
The one who holds back creates pressure that will eventually burst. Varicose veins and avarice share a diagnosis: the refusal to let go of what was meant to flow.

Ce soir-là, chez lui, sa femme sert le dîner en silence. Les enfants mangent vite et partent. Personne ne parle des factures sur le comptoir.

En hébreu, le sang et l'argent partagent le même mot : Damim.
Un corps où le sang circule — vivant. Chaque organe nourri. De la chaleur dans chaque doigt.
Un corps où le sang stagne — mourant. En silence. De l'intérieur.
Un foyer où les ressources coulent — de la nourriture sur la table, des chaussures aux enfants, une femme qui transforme chaque pièce en quelque chose de vivant. La maison respire.
Un foyer où les ressources sont retenues — le silence au dîner. Du ressentiment dans les murs. Des enfants qui le sentent mais ne savent pas le nommer.
Le médecin a dit : « Le problème, c'est la stagnation. »
Il parlait des veines.
Il aurait pu parler de n'importe quoi.

Damim (דמים) signifie à la fois « sang » et « argent ». Le sang doit circuler pour maintenir la vie. L'argent doit circuler pour maintenir un foyer.
Celui qui retient crée une pression qui finira par éclater. Les varices et l'avarice partagent un diagnostic : le refus de laisser couler ce qui était fait pour circuler.

בחדר בית חולים, רופא מסביר למטופל עם רגליים נפוחות:
« הדם שלך לא זז. הוא נאגר. הלחץ עולה. אם לא נשחזר את הזרימה, משהו יתפוצץ. »
באותו ערב, בבית, אשתו מגישה ארוחת ערב בשתיקה. הילדים אוכלים מהר ועוזבים. אף אחד לא מדבר על החשבונות שעל השיש.

בעברית, דם וכסף חולקים את אותה מילה: דמים.
גוף שבו הדם זורם — חי. כל איבר ניזון. חום בכל אצבע.
גוף שבו הדם נקווה — גוסס. בשקט. מבפנים.
בית שבו המשאבים זורמים — אוכל על השולחן, נעליים לילדים, אישה שהופכת כל מטבע למשהו חי. הבית נושם.
בית שבו המשאבים מוחזקים — שתיקה בארוחת הערב. טינה בקירות. ילדים שמרגישים אבל לא יודעים לקרוא לזה בשם.
הרופא אמר: « הבעיה היא קיפאון. »
הוא דיבר על ורידים.
הוא יכול היה לדבר על כל דבר.
בבית שלך —
מה זורם בחופשיות…
ואיפה משהו התחיל להיקרש?
כשהזרימה נעצרת, אנחנו מחפשים מישהו להאשים.
ומה אם הפנים שאנחנו מאשימים הן אלה שבמראה?

דמים — גם « דם » וגם « כסף ». דם חייב לזרום כדי לקיים חיים. כסף חייב לזרום כדי לקיים בית.
